Discussion Questions:
1. Can you think of an instance when you were particularly nervous or anxious? Did it affect you physically, mentally, or both? What did you do to get through it?
2. Why is it necessary to know the financial consequences of not addressing mental health issues in the workplace? How can companies find a healthy balance between focusing on business goals and caring for employees? What may occur if a company prioritizes one over the other?
3. Say a team is preparing a presentation, and one of the members has GAD, which affects their presentation skills. What could team members do to support this person? What adjustments could they make to the presentation plan?
