In this activity, you will be presented with scenarios where you may have to deliver bad news at work. Discuss and select which of Myra's methods you feel would work best in preparing for the conversation.

  • The four steps are: clearly explain, acknowledge impact, pause (allow the person to respond), and manage expectations (provide options)

  • KFD is: preparing in advance what you want the employee to Know, Feel, and Do after the conversation

  • The Three W Approach is: explain What we know, What we've done, and What's next.
